Fincorp Al Amal Fund

Fincorp Al Amal Fund was launched in March 2005 as an open-ended mutual fund with a mandate to invest in internationally (USA, Europe, Great Britain, etc.) the Sultanate of Oman and the GCC region.

Investment Objective- The Objective of the Fund is to achieve long term capital appreciation through a diversified portfolio primarily comprising of equity and equity related investments. Another key objective is to offer an investment vehicle which also meets the liquidity requirement of the investors; this would be achieved by an open-ended structure. The fund aims to instill a culture of savings among small investors.

Dividend Policy- The Fund’s Board may propose to distribute a percentage as dividends to the unit holders. Such proposed distribution is based on the distributable surplus of the fund and the approval of the unit holders in the Annual General Meeting.

Units of the schemes can be purchased by:
  1. Omani males aged 18 years or more – copy of the identity card.
  2. Omani females aged 18 years or more – copy of the passport, identity card or driving license.
  3. Non-Omani adults – copy of passport.
  4. Children (below 18 years) – copy of the birth certificate and identity card of the guardian/parent.
  5. Companies – copy of the Commercial Registration Certificate.
  6. Pension and Investment Funds – copy of the Constitutive Royal Decree or Administrative Decision.
